We are born into noise. A jumble of nonsense and stimuli. With time, we learn to recognize patterns; we marry signifiers and signifieds. The senselessness reveals itself to be information. We start to trade in symbols and codes and embark upon a life of encoding and decoding, transmitting and receiving, seeing and being seen. Still, we will never grasp but a fraction of the data gushing across the world. As we pass into eternity, noise still rings in our ears.
